There are three areas for visitors to park, depending on their final destination in the Arboretum.
The first parking area you pass provides access to the gardens and Norrie's Gift Shop. If you proceed up the hill past Norrie's gift shop, there is parking to the right (including one accessible space) for the South African, Californian, and New Zealand gardens or you can turn left and head to the parking area for the Horticulture I and II buildings, the Library, Administrative Offices, and Australian gardens.
All three parking areas provide excellent access to different parts of the gardens.
The Arboretum is open daily for visitors from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Admission is $5 for adults, and $2 for children ages 6-17. Admission is free to UCSC students, visitors going to Norrie's Gift Shop only, children under 6, Arboretum members and volunteers, and visitors who are members of the American Horticulture Society Reciprocal Admissions Program.
